Should I take it

Hey guys and the girls that are here
Second time poster!!! I have been around here for a while just reading. You may know my younger TWIN brother as Battlehawk1025. Now i have a slight drama going on. For the past few weeks I have been driving my brothers car (his 335), and fallen in love with it. Before that I had a 600 AWHP STI. Most people thought I couldn't drive that car (because I'm girl) till I left them in the dust. Recently some dick head guy on his cell phone manage to total my car. Long story short, he failed to stop at a red light and T-boned the car. My sweet little brother was nice enough to lend me his car since he is away at school and while is my dad is helping me deal with the other dick heads insurance. Back to the point, I have always liked it but now I love it and see why he bought it. Every time I get in it, it feels like... He made me an offer, instead of me go to buying a new car with my own money, I just take his for free and pocket the Insurance money and he can go buy something with his money. Like the Audi S4 when it comes out. He also said he will pick up any maintenance cost or anything like that. Even modding the car (I mean he just bought me a new exhaust for it and a chip). OR I can buy my own with the insurance money and start modding the car from the ground up like i did with my STI.
So what would you guys do in this case?
P.S. Sorry for the long post

that's what my nice yet deceiving little brother wants. Here is the thing I have always had a much faster car than him. Than again I do half his installs for him.

I no it's not a drama, I'm a girl so i can call it one. the budget is up in the air because of the insurance company but i thing it will be about the price of a fully loaded 335.

s5's dont seem to have much mod potential short of a 20k supercharger from mtm. this girl will not be happy leaving the car stock if she's coming from a 600hp sti. go with the 335i and have fun modding the shit out of it, just don't expect 600hp just yet. imo this is the next great tuning platform, especially for german cars.

Yea I am not to familiar with this engine. When it comes to tuning I no what I am talking about. my STI had a create race engine in it. That thing was built, striped and build from the ground up. My brother told me people are only getting like 400 hp at the wheels with just the basic upgrades I will do a search for them later.

i hear ya, i was just saying that an s5 will cost way too much to get power out of it. give it some time if people come out with turbo kits for 335's, which they say they are, i think you will be seeing these thing pushing out some big hp. remember, the sti has been around for awhile in japan and even here. these things take time, and i really think in the next few years, maybe even less, you will see some pretty high hp 335's

Modded M3s will outrun a 335i modded....but a bit more expensive to mod. 335is you can drop about 1k in a tune and you're already pushing close to 350whp/360wtq

add in downpipes, exhaust, intakes,FMIC and you're looking at close to if not over 400~ish WHP

again, I've been seeing that this is somewhat the bottleneck until bigger turbos
