engine sounds
On my 330 manaul car, I noticed difference in sound when reving in neutral vs 1st gear.
Take for example, gear in neutral and when i rev the engine i hear vrooom. Now gear in 1st and when I rev engine I hear vroooom (a bit more louder). Could someone with a manual try this out and see if you noticed a difference in sound as well? Any idea why?

I thought when you are in neutral, the engine is the only thing moving (reving)?

Re: OP, it's completely normal. When you're revving the engine with the car in neutral, the engine is hardly doing any work. It's only using a tiny bit of fuel and air to make the engine spin around. When you're in gear, it's using a lot more air & fuel => producing more exhaust gasses => more noise.
