emergency question

my cousin was over and we came out to a dead battery. my friend hastily hooked up jumper cables in reverse. now we are getting absolutely no life from car. anybody have any idea what could have been damaged??? the car is a 94 accord.

i know this is not bmw related but figured some experts on here could help

Could be a lot of things. We need more info. With things hooked up properly, do you have anything like lights, etc?

dude, how did your friend put the mis-matching jumper cables on!? -_-

Ok, so have you since tried to turn the car on with the CORRECT jumper settings?

check your master fuses or all the fuses
tell your cuz to buy a meter from autozone since he owes you
with such a huge voltage short a fuse went

well, it's fried like kfc. blew every fuse we could find. i honestly don't know how the guy hooked them up wrong, it's pretty straight forward - red to red black to black. sucks for my cuz (he's had the car 2 weeks!!!) glad it wasnt mine though....... ha now the real dilemma, is the guy who did it liable???

first check the master fuse, I did that on a friends car I shorted her whole car.

Well someone needs to do a fuse run. Go to a junk yard and just take the whole fuse panel!
Probably just $50 in fuses. Your worst nightmare is if you had an arc significant enough to go through the fuse and get to the components.
Typically you have a master main fuse panel and those fuses lead to the other smaller fuses.
Lesson learned eh. Maybe he's color blind?

Check all the fusible links as well, not just the fuses.
