Anyone elses windows does this? How do I fix it?
I got my 2009 E92 335 2 weeks ago.. and already this is starting to happen and its annoying me...
Any one elses windows does this where the rubber scraps against the windows when you roll them up or down? Does it have to do with a window alignment issue? Its on both the driver and passenger side. Also, I noticed my right exhuast sticks out more than my left exhuast.. and it is blacker than the other. Any ideas? Sorry if these are dumb questions.. newbie 1st time owner just curious.. Thanks! |

Same streaks happen to me and I have tint.
Does anyone know if felt instead of rubber will help with the streaking problem?

I have it too. I have heard people on bimmerfest saying it is the sealant they use to ship your car over, it gets on the windows and goes away with time.

To fix the window problem:
After washing your car, roll the windows down.. Take a MF towel, wrap it around your finger and spray simple green on your MF wrapped finger. Jam your finger into the window opening and clean out the oily residue that is left over from shipping and so on. Rubber would get less dirty than felt, but rubber will squeak eventually. It will take many passes with the MF towel to clean out the window openings. Your towel will get VERY dirty, so be prepared.

Happens to all 4 of my windows.
The back windows look pretty bad since they dont go straight down but "tuck away" and I get a nice semi-circle on my window. BTW I have an E93 so my back windows go down.

It does it on my new Yukon Denali.
However, doesn't on either of our BMW's.

the exhaust is normal, search for golf tee mod. it will make your exhaust louder and the butterfly on the side that doesnt get as dirty will be always open.

My friend keeps sending me his romantic text messages to his g/f. He has big fingers. Funny as hell when I receive them. I think he has the hots for me. going back to the window thing. I have that problem on my E46 ZHP. hasn't gone away. And it is annoying. |
