Seat Belt Chime going off, Yet Seat Belt is On.

Hey,

Today my seat belt chime would not stop ringing. It would come on randomly during the drive that I had. I did have a heavy bag on the passenger seat, do you think its from that?

Anyone have this issue?

Most likely yes to the passenger seat because there are sensors in it to tell if there is a butt sitting in it or not.

Did the airbag disabled light come on? If not, the load in the passenger seat was heavy enough for the car to think there was a person there.
