N54 engine swap

It is only gonna be a matter of time before someone performs a N54 TT engine swap into a E46/36/30 or even non 335 E90..does anybody know of any yet?..could be doable..clean title e46 with a blown/flodded/overheated engine + wrecked e90/92/93 335i?..or a e91 owner pissed off that he didnt get the option of a TT engine?

You can swap V6/V8s in 1970's Chevy Nova, but I don't think you can do that in BMW...

I think there is an aftermarket turbocharger for your E46??? I'm not sure about this...

Actually a member on e46 forums, is already in the process of swapping a N54 engine. i made a thread about it a while back.

yea, it should be ok with a few tweaks, since i think the n54 is based more on the e46 engine. (M54)?

I'd like to have a 335iT, this may be the only way I'll be able to get one.

Doing the transplant on an E91 should be a lot easier than doing it on an E46.

I would LOVE... absolutely LOVE to have a 335iT!

Hmm... maybe an overmileage 06 325iT w/ a N54 engine / tranny....

Times like these that I wish I had my dream garage to perform such a task.

I wanted to do my the conversion, my Dad's friend has a totaled 335i coupe for sale. $10k

, the enignes & transmission, exhausts, trunk, rear bumper is perfect. The car was hit from the driver's side. Im going to get a quote from a shop that specializes (sp?) in BMW. Im kinda scared to do it, cuz i never had a problem with my 328 (knock on wood)and if something goes wrong with the 335 engine, im ****ed lol.
