yellow engine malfunction light

as i was driving my e92 335i last night with jb2, i saw the engine malfunction light in yellow, ive had this before but it was in red and it was my HPFP failure. this time car starts up fine runs fine but that light came up. i turned the car off for about 10 minutes after that, drove it for another 2 - 3 minutes and it didnt show up again, do i take my car into checkup? is there any serious problems?
Thanks
-Alex

The code should be stored so the dealer can determine what happened. I'd remove the JB2 first, though.

no worries there.

solid yellow check engine light has mainly to do with emissions

it does not affect the performance of the car and will turn itself off if the fault is no longer occuring

one of the most common reason the yellow CEL comes up is loose gas cap
usually goes away after peopl refuel their cars
