I will be looking to get into a 2009 3 series sedan and I can't make my mind up. I do like the chestnut and black interior but can't decide what it will look good with.
Please help!!

Alpine white and the chestnut, or saddle is awesome. I personally would never consider a black interior, but anything goes with black.....

I personally have the AW with the new Oyster. It is two toned with the black and is so beautiful. Well, in my eyes that is. Next favorite would be the AW with the saddle. It too is two toned in the sedan.

I did see a Space Gray with Chestnut at the dealership.

Balck sapphire/chesnut/aluminum. Space grey/oyster/carbon fiber. I'm not a fan of wood at all. However, with the oyster interior, I'd order a black arm rest.

I'm a big fan of the 2-tone brown/black color schemes but have always felt that the exterior color should be one of the colors of the interior; namely, black. Another possibility is aluminum trim w/silver exterior. Just me, but no different than dressing conservatively, but with a dash of style.

+1. Both are new options for 2009, nice combo.

Also like Jet Black or Sapphire Black with Saddle (also a new color for the E90 interior).

im just going to list some combos i think are nice. kinda depends on your style


if you want something sporty:

- space gray with black leather (also TiAg, or just black [i prefer Jet Black over the metallic])
- montego blue with black

some "luxurious":

- monaco blue with chestnut or saddle...oyster also looks NICE
- platinum bronze with cream beige
- barbera red with cream beige

or the best of both:

- montego blue with saddle brown... may sound a little odd but theyre soooo nice together
- alpine white with saddle brown
- black with saddle or chestnut...maybe oyster if you like the contrast

I'm looking at buying an '09 sedan myself.

My primary two ext color choices I'm considering are Barbera Red and Crimson Red, which unfortunately limits the leather colors available to me. I'd probably go with Oyster for either of those.

If I expand my ext picks to include Space Gray and Bluewater, I'd give serious consideration to Saddle as well.

335 series: montego / saddle brown / carbon leather (carbon leather will be special order i guess)
m3: le mans-blue / fox red / carbon leather

I like mine... Alpine White/Coral Red/Titanium Trim. But I also like the same interior and trim with Space Grey and/or Jet Black. Also the Dark Blue that's almost black with the orange leather interior
