Crap...rough idle/misfires..and long start problem AGAIN!
This is getting old..I just got it back from the dealership where they told me everything is fixed. They also downloaded 31.1. It misfires when just cruising at 70 mph now. It goes back to the dealership next week..when I can find the time. Can't blame it on the Dinan tune..since they programmed over it.
Injectors? another fuel pump? What now?

I had minor idle issues and something that felt like a misfire corrected by having the low fuel pressure sensor replaced and the thermostat wiring replaced. I had a code from my C-reader (got it with my ProCEDE) that read thermostat open and a couple of undefined codes. I thought it was from my RR catless pipes and DIY SIM, but it turns out I coincidentally had a fault after installing the pipes. My car now idles smoothly, although the idle wasn't too rough before, and there is no more hesitation during cruising.
My ailments were most noticeable during engine warm up, but it didn't completely go away when running at normal temps. I don't know if they flashed my car, but my car feels fine now. |
