tab inside truck
i've been wondering this since i got the car. Can't find it in the manual. There's a black plastic tab inside my trunk, top part (under rear deck area), a little off center to the left. It swings forward and back. Any one have a clue what its for? Just noticed it again today and i haven't a clue...

Dude search. It's used to hold the bottom panel up if you wanna keep it up while putting/taking stuff with both hands.

When you lift the boot/trunk floor up you can use the tab to hold the boot floor open.
For example i keep a little bag of car care stuff in the storage compartment, i can use the tab to hold up the flap.

No worries buddy.
There are a few threads on here about it but finding them can be hard and its a common question though, even my SA didnt know what it was for when i got my car. A lot of people think its pointless but i use it every time i was my car as i store interior wipe cloths etc in there. Hope you find it useful now!
