OT: 535i and 135i troubles?

sorry to be a little off topic but does anybody know if the 535i and 135i's share the same issues as the 335i's (ie: fuel pumps, excessive oil temps etc?)

For some reason it doesn't appear to be as common as the 335i's. I've been to 1addicts.com and had trouble finding hpfp failures.

one reason is that there are fewer 535 and 135 on the roads than the 335. just look at the post counts on the 1er and 5er forum!!

plus 335i owners are more eager to report their problems than 535i and 135i owners, anyway. we whine more, lol.

I was wondering that too! Seems like the new 135 is very reliable! Consumer report said the first year reliability is impressive!

they share all the same engine. 3.0L TT!

there is always going to be high pressure pump problems, but the quantity of complaints should have reduced from 07-->08-->09

you don't hear about them because there are less 535s' and 135s' than 335s'

there are less 1er and 5er owners on the forums. I'm sure it is occurring, just less that we hear about...I mean really, how many 535i owners are enthusiasts? (don't count the minority...)
