Any idea when E92 Facelift due out?

I was looking at http://www.bmwblog.com/2008/09/18/bm...r-future-cars/ and there is no mention of a e92 facelift, surly this is wrong?

Is also states a whole new coupe due out in 2013?

I am sure that I read somewhere a e92 facelift is due to come out 2010?

I believe BMW does a face lift mid cycle which is every 4 years. Coupes came out in 2007 so we should be seeing a face lifted model in 2010.

They can keep their face lift, i want the 7-speed Dual Clutch transmission...

Facelifts happen 3 years after production begins. Production on the e92 started in model year 2007, so in 2010 a facelift will come. In the e90, the first model year was the 2006, so we got a facelift in 2009.

So is the E92 facelift out yet? If not, should I start another thread to see when it's coming out? I wonder if the E92 M3 will get a facelift too? If it does, will it still not be as good as the 335i with a tune?

The E92 went on sale in the Fall of 2006 as a 2007 MY. The E90 went on sale spring of 2005 as a 2006 MY. The E90 LCI was 3 MY later.

Safe to say the E92/93 LCI will see their LCI in the fall of 2009 as a 2010MY. The DCT will make it to the E92/93 we (US) need to wait for the launch of the new Z4 which was bumped. The Z4 is the launch car for the DCT in the US, marketing decision.

Not as much testing is going to be required on the E92 LCI since all of the changes were tested (R&D) a lot on the E90 and they should be fairly similar.

Be patient, this spring you will begin to see test cars; BMW has a lot going on now in terms of development. New Z4, X1, X3, PAS, 5er, 6er, project-i, ///M X5/X6, hybrid X6/ and 7er and one more model that everyone will hear about soon enough!

That is a ton of projects! The FIZ and engineers are busy.

To the OP that roadmap you are looking at is Crap btw, throw it out.

Wow, the Z4 gets the DCT first as the launch car? I guess due to the added weight of the retractable hardtop roof gizmo thingy
