No, the US pricing is out, we'll have to wait for them to figure our the latest BigMac factor for Canada.

I just read in another thread that the US site should have the US procing and options etc. ready for on-line configuration by this Friday.

If lucky we'll be on the same time. Unfortunately, past experience has shown there is a lag between US and us - they have to first announce the Canadian pricing, then the site will be update.

I figure give or take one week from now the Canadian prices should be out. But this is a pure guess.

.
Well, it´s two separate entities. It´s not as if your cars also come from BMW of North America. So I guess each does things each on its own schedule.

Related to that, how is Canada doing on low-sulfur diesel fuel?

According to Perto-Canada we site, since Sept. 1, 2006, all on-road diesel fuel in Canada must be ULSD.

I got a quote from my local dealer on a X5 35d which is starting 62300. One thing i have noticed on my quote was that BMW Canada charge 1200 freight, 400 admin fee, and 795 PDI? I haven't yet owned any BMWs, but this seems really high! So everything included it is like 73231 with a base model, wondering how much discount they are gonna give on this SUV!

Wow, given that the starting price of the X53.0 is 61k, the mark-up for the diesel is minimal - this is actually good news if confirmed.

The freight, prep and admin fees are negociable btw.......

That really depends on each dealer/how much they want to make a sale.

The freight charge for example, is a fee that BMW charges the dealer. The dealer marks up that original fee before passing on to the customer. One third off that fee is good.

The preparation fee is 100% pure dealer profit, since the hourly wage of the employees used to prep the car is already factored into the overhead. Same for the administration fee.

I have in the past flat out refused to pay those and gotten deep discounts (I had the administration fee waived altogether once).
