I know that price is less than what others are getting, but still $52 for 2 little pieces of painted plastic is INSANE!!! What do these cost to make, $.75?

I picked up a few for free from a dealership (long story, but they're all used and different colors). I sanded them down, primered them, and picked up some OEM 300 paint from Paint Scratch ($12) and sprayed it on. Applied a few coats of clear and buffed the pieces. Now I have about 4 extra Alpine White toe hook covers that match perfectly to my bumper, since they seem to always get stolen around my area

Point being, if you're competent enough to do some simple painting and/or body work, you can paint your own smaller pieces quiet easily and it'll save you lots of money in the long run.

I think it is more of a patience/skill/aptitude thing rather than competence.
