New to the forum...
What's going on guys? My name is Brian, obviously new to the forum...I'm planning to buy a 335i really soon. Now I'm stuck with the decision to go with the coupe or the sedan. Any suggestions? Also I was wondering if anybody has had any problems with the new 3 series(mechanical or electrical). Thanks a lot and I'll be looking forward into joining the post!

Coupe : I barely use my rear seats and plus imho coupe looks better than sedan.
Fuel Pump: some 335i owners have issue with this. Just "HPFP".

if you have kids, or pets, get a 4 door.

I've only owned coupes up till now. Now that I have 4 doors, it's really nice to throw your computer bag or whatever in the back seat on the driver side instead of always using the trunk. Coupe looks great though. This is a decision no one but you can make.

welcome dude, nice avatar
the best colour for the coupe was the sparkling graphite but it no longer exists most people around here tend to favor white and black and some like blue. i went for space grey, it looks good with tinted windows and gunmetal painted wheels...but that's just me |

First off, welcome to the forums and BMW!
Coupe/sedan debate can have some tangible advice, but if you're asking which color, that has to be something you decide. Best thing to do is go see them in person. You'll also want to see what you want from your Bimmer (stand out? classy?). Good luck! |

Haha thanks i don't blame all of you for being biased. They're both sweet cars but yea i don't want to grow up so fast. And thanks for the welcoming! can't wait!

I had an 06 325 sedan, and now I have an 08 335 coupe. And I have 3 kids and a dog. I ended up saying f*** it and getting the coupe because it looks good. I'm not sorry. If I need to take the whole family, I use the Tahoe. But more often it's just one kid, and the coupe is fine for that. I will say that, for a compact coupe, the rear seats are pretty spacious and very accessible for kids, car seats, etc. Also, the coupe has fold down rear seats, which is hugely convenient. All in all the coupe to me feels like a different car - much sportier.

the couple looks better...the sedan is far more practical...
if you carry bags often or plan to actually have ppl sit in the rear seat for more than 15mins and not hate you and ur car, get the e90. i do think the new lci e90 with m sport external kit (dealer installed) looks just as good as an e92 and still comes out cheaper as the e92 price is a bit more than the e90. |
