When I got my X5 I wasn’t a fan of the chrome, my past car was an m sport, so I started to work on making this one look “sportier”.

Painted the front and rear silver pieces black, and same with the side pieces.

Got the black kidney grill.

I had the trim around the windows wrapped in gloss black as well.

Think it makes a huge difference, definitely more aggressive.

I was gonna paint the the roof rails black as well, but we got rid of the X5.

Wow! Your plastic wrap looks much more legit compared to my use of newspapers on my old jeep. Looks good.

I did my best, but it was windy and felt like I wanted to cover the whole thing, incase there was over spray, but it worked out perfectly.

Where da hell did you find that plastic wrap with that size 🤣 that's why I want to know ! Nicely done, car looks nice !!!

Painted my diffuser and the exhaust tip as well. Was trying to paint the grille too but couldn't get it right with the plasidip so end up just buying one.

Home Depot, it was the kind you use when you paint your house. It worked perfectly. 🤣

That was a nice improvement over the silver trim. Where did you get the window trim wrapped?

I got it done at a shop called Genesis window tinting in Elk Grove Ca

Good deal. There is one here in Roseville and the tinted the window on my last two cars. I didn't ask about wrapping the trim though. Thanks for the reply.

I too think X line has too much chrome. Should have done more homework and gone with the m sports. I'm too chicken to mess with the rest. I only changed the grille. Looks good. Where is the big camera? And you need to unbox that pressure washer too.
