Pricing
Hello, just wanted to get a sense of pricing for 2021 M5's in different states. Went to Brea BMW (So Cal) and they wanted 10k over msrp for a new frozen bluestone metallic comp (msrp 125k). Is the shortage of cars a real thing? Anyone having to pay over msrp? The sense i had after following these forums is no but maybe tides are changing a little with pricing. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! I would recommend checking out this thread for most recent pricing data points as well as historical: https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1541178
Unless you have a strong desire to negotiate with a dealer or you feel like you're not getting anywhere, I would also recommend hiring a broker to find you a satisfactory deal. Next Level Auto Brokers would be a good person to contact. Good luck! |

My understanding is there is a serious shortage of cars across the board. You won't be finding too many m5's on the lot and any that you do find, dealers won't be anywhere near as negotiable on the price. It's a 180 degree from last year at this time when manufacturers were offering incentives and 0% financing.
Not just BMW, look at any Porsche dealer and all they will have are SUV's and the Taycan. Even the unpopular Panamera is hard to come by. Ford is storing thousands of cars at any empty lot they can find near their plants and upcoming cars are delayed (higher spec Broncos and Raptors). Friend of mine went to an Audi dealership since his lease is up and they don't have anything to sell him. Strange times we live in. I do second talking to Dan at Next Level Brokers, but I spoke with him a couple weeks ago and his list is deep for m5 allocations. |

BMW of Mt Laurel NJ has a super clean M5C with like 4000 miles. Looks good. Here are pics, was there today. Owner traded for a 7 series. Needed the bigger luxury ride.
