Best way to remove front license plate bracket?
Hi there,
I just bought a white 2021 X5 last week in Maryland. The car has a front license plate frame, but I live in a state that doesn’t require front plates. Have any of you removed front license plate frames? How much do you think a dealer would charge to remove and repair the damage? I could also just get this instead: What are your thoughts? |

i don't believe it can be repaired, just replaced. i have a brand new front bumper trim if u want to go back to the original OEM look. i can let it go for super cheap. BMW part no. 51-11-8-099-662
or you can use BumperPlugs in Jet Black (668) to cover the holes https://bumperplugs.com/bumperplugs/bumperplugs-for-bmw personally, i wouldn't use a big logo license plate as a faux one; i would revert to original or a subtle fix such as the plugs.
