I still love the way the lights, interior lights and door handles fade up when you unlock the car

Shame the Corona rings don't come on when you unlock.

Geeky I know, but have you ever noticed how the four red LEDs in the main light units cast a red glow on the interior?

Yep, the corona rings do indeed come on. You need lights set to auto and select "welcome lights" in the light settings

All mine fade up and down

Unfortunately I stand 50m away in dim light and the dark just to watch the LEDs, especially in the coronas

My favourite feature at the moment is Main Beam Assist. Awesome just to leave main beam on and let it do it's thing

Oh and Adaptive Headlights going around roundabouts. Weird watching the headlight beam sweeping the the road left to right.

And lastly the idrive screen adjusting its brightness relative to ambient light outside. Especially today with rain clouds one moment then low sunlight the next.

I don't have I-drive... but mine are set to come on on the OBD and I do have the interior lights and the door handles come on.. the corona's only work when I turn the car off (light switch on auto) but they go off as soon as I open the drivers door!

Surely they should come on when I unlock and lock?? Is this something for a warranty check?
