Random: in what model year was the cd player removed?

It looks as though it disappeared from the latest (2020) update. I haven't used my CD player more than a couple of times since I've had the X1 (3/2018), preferring to play albums from those I've loaded onto my iPhone. Saves having a car full of CDs lying around too and I can't see any discernible difference in quality.

Yes. Missing from my build of 8th September 2020.

Thanks to you both. No need for CDs, was merely curious as the radio in my MY2021 clearly has a spot where the CD Player used to be, which then made me curious. It's funny in a way, almost like if I could pull off that piece of plastic, the cd player would still be there under it

I have an X1 from 7/2018 and there is no CD player available, but it is a model that has the same interior as the f48 lci
