Can a small dent in the bumper be repaired?

Some douche love tapped my rear bumper and left a license plate style dent along with a scratch. I can see an imprint when I look at a reflection in the bumper, but other than that it doesn't look dented. Can it be fixed? What would they do to fix it? A new bumper would be quite costly I assume.

It didn't bother me until I saw how reflections looked in the dent.

Thanks for any help.

yea they can fix it... they usually heat the bumper to soften it up and then remove the dent by massaging from the back. you will probably still be able to see where the impression was made because this doesnt usually yield perfect results but it will be a lot cheaper than removing it by swapping out a bumper... i say do the dent removal and save your cash for when you really need to get a new bumper.
