knife stabbed my car

Running errands today, heard a clunk from below, thought nothing of it, then clunk again, and could feel it just below me, then metallic scraping, like exhaust part had fallen down and was dragging.

Pulled into parking lot to look, wondering how much this was going to cost and was surprised to see a butter knife stuck/lodged straight up into bottom under panel.
I could only imaging how it ended up in the middle of the street, picturing an enraged wife chasing her philandering husband down the street with butter knife in hand, and flinging it at his head, grazing his noggin to fall harmlessly in the street. Harmless until it miraculously got flipped as I ran over, making direct hit and lodging where it stood. Its rough out there folks, please be vigilant and safe for the Hollidays. (if only the knife was sterling silver)

In short - now we may have seen everything. Echoing Elvisfan, any damage?

I actually had that thought. I wasn’t speeding or playing loud music (at the moment). Could be a Dodge Challenger owner who got gapped by a 340
