320xi next mods????
So far I have a drop in afe air filter, BM3 stage 1 tune, and yesterday used bimmercode to add sport + transmission. These mods have drastically changed the feel of the car but now I'm trying to figure out where to go from here. Is a charge pipe necessary?? And what other mods would you guys recommend without pushing my n20 engine past it's limits

Honestly not worth it. You got the most bang/hp per buck with the stage1 tune, I personally wouldn't go beyond that.
If you want to you could do a downpipe, larger FMIC, etc |

It's more costly with the necessary hardware upgrades, and the actual performance increase is less. I personally would focus on other things that make it more fun to drive like suspension, brakes, tires, and exhaust upgrades. Some of them are as easy as choosing the best aftermarket parts when you are performing maintenance. Get Hawk 5.0 brake pads, upgrade to stainless steel brake lines, get crossdrilled front rotors instead of plain, ditch runflats for a performance summer tire or performance all season like Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4. Upgrade your tire size from 225/45-18 to 245/45-18. Upgrade shocks to Koni Special Actives. When you want an intercooler this is the perfect quick flow unit sized correctly for your engine & tune. https://www.kiesmotorsports.com/prod...8;_ss=r?aff=22 |
