Hi Everyone,

I'm just trying to figure out something, and with no VIN decoders working I'm struggling to find out "why".

I have a 2016 340i (bought used late last year from the dealer) with package Z5Z M Performance w/PF2. I know the M Performance comes with adaptive suspension, steering, 19" rims, etc. (which I have) but I know it also comes with the M Brakes (from what I see on older articles from 2016).

The thing is I don't have M Brakes, they are the factory BMW ones. The only thing I can think of is because it says w/PF2? so that's a completely different setup having PF2 wheels?

oh, I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

Just curious, any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

IIRC the M sport package just had larger pads and rotors, not the blue sport calipers. Those were an additional option. The calipers were also included in part of the track handling package.

Just got up to date on Canadian spec vehicles and found this. Might make sense why your calipers are gone. Looks like the 2pf option removes the sport
