Here we go again! Another problem with my car. I need help identifying where the coolant is coming from though. Cracked radiator or coolant hose????

Looks like the radiator seam. You might need a new radiator.

Does anyone know any aftermarket radiators for the auto 335i? I guess it's a good time for an upgrade.

CSF, but before you do, confirm that's the leak. It's usually a small pinhole leak right where the quick connect pipe connects to the rest of the end tank.

Right around that junction is where it tends to occur. IMO upgraded radiators aren't worth it unless you track it. You can get a Nissens (Japanese OEM) for under $100, or a Behr (OEM) for around $150.

UPDATE

Went for a drive and found the leak. Such a small crack. Not sure if I should use a plastic welder or replace the radiator. Suggestions?

OEM radiator is $175.00 at FCP w/ a lifetime warranty.

CSF is $450-500.00

If you are tracking the car, CSF is worth it. If not, don't bother.

For $175.00 and a fairly easy DIY, I wouldn't try and patch it up. It's not worth the headache.

The only other thing I would do, is replace all your o-rings while you are in there. Especially if you are over say 125,000 miles

I've seen people have success with JBWeld. I mean it's worth a shot. Worst case is it keeps leaking and you replace it.

Yea, I think I'm gonna use a plastic welder for a temporary fix. I will replace the radiator when I get an upgraded intercooler since that needs to be removed when replacing the radiator.
