Comfort Access Timing

Hi guys, any of you know if there's a way to adjust the timing on comfort access through coding so that when I close the door, it immediately enables itself so I can lock the door right away? I typically try to lock the doors and I feel like an idiot waiting for it to respond.

Not sure if it's normal or if there's something wrong with it. It's also very annoying that when say for example I drop someone off, as soon as they close the door, it says the engine won't run cause the key is not present. I find it very annoying of course.

Let me know what you think!

There is no waiting period for me. As soon as I close the door, I can lock and unlock it with CA. For the key, it only displays message if I exit the car while it is running and key truly leaves the car. If my passenger leaves the car, but I remain in the car with my key, there is no warning message. Likewise, if I leave the car but put my key in the cup holder before exiting, it does not display error message. Something sounds fishy here.

Sounds to me that the key is the common denominator here since that is not a normal occurrence.
