Sooty Tailpipes
I have blocked off the EGR and swirl flaps and installed a stage 2 tune that has also disabled EGR and Swirls. DPF and SCR systems are still in place but now my tail pipes are sooty. Anyone else experience this?

I need to take it on a long drive on the freeway I guess. I don't do that to often as it's my weekend car. Hopefully I don't have any problems along the way.

If DPF and SCR are in place you should not be seeing soot. Are you sure the DPF was not yanked? Whose Stage 2 tune do you have?

You would think if I had a boost leak that it would throw a code but there are no codes. |

Took the car on a 2.5 hr 150 mile trip yesterday in 91 degree weather and didn't notice the DPF regen at all. Protool sucks when it comes to viewing DPF information so I may buy another year of Carly so I can view soot mass etc..
The car drives fine and has plenty of power so I am very confused at this point. |

You should not see sooty tailpipes with DPF in place. Your DPF May be cracked. Please confirm you go through regenerations. Carly is too expensive. If you have android, load Torque app.
