XDI HPFP noise!

I have had a XDI-35 HPFP installed for quite some time and since install it has been making a strange rattling noise I have tried reach wing out to XDI but I gave up after no replies and I am not sure if they were busy but they weren't even picking up FYI this was back in January I haven't had any issues with the pump but has anyone hear of one making a rattle noise or just abnormally loud on a 2015 335i?

It's cam driven, so it can be just that, the cam.

My 2013 had a note about a revised cover over the hpfp that made a huge difference. SA knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the noise.

So it was just a cover that went over the HPFP or a new cam?

Had you posted in the correct Forum ( N55 Turbo Engine / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications ) you may have had more traction.

Your issue has been discussed many times concerning this pump. You should have contacted TTFS as they are the resellers of this pump (410-972-1997) NOT XDI.

Also to note, in most cases, the "rattling" noise you're experiencing has been attributed to tuning. I suggest re-searching the forum linked above and/or contact your tuner.

It's the tffs xdi setting that is fuck up.. They know the problem and they haven't even bother fixing it.. Fuel pressure is too high at low load and idle..sound even worse in the winter when its cold.. Problem will be fix with a custom tune..
