DIY: F30 Dome Lights upgrade (From yellow to white)
Hello everyone.
I don't know about you, but I really hate those yellow interior lights that BMW use. In F30 with Light Package option you get all interior lights in LED technology (except glove box) but the LED's are yellow and they look like halogen bulbs. So I have decided to get rid off of those yellow LED's and replace them with much better looking white LED's. Starting with footwell lights - you can find that thread here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1707036 And now to the Dome Lights: - For Dome Lights I bought 100pc pack of 3014 SMD white LED's (~6000K) Note that I haven't used any special tools or equipment. Just a basic tools I had in my house or you can get them for cheap on amazon. This project is not that hard, it was quite easy and I don't have a lot of experience with iron welding, but then end result was AMAZING |
