X3 debut.. Will the 3 series get these grills..
Really not sure how to feel about this. I think bought the current grills were bad, but now I'm questioning how bad they could get..

The new X5's and X7's already have the gaudy grill so it's only a matter of time.

The prototype video of the new i4 had something similar. I'm guessing the 3-series will inherit them as well. I was a bit surprised when I saw the GIANT grill for the 7-series in the showroom though. I figured pics and the internet were exaggerating them. Yeh, no. HUGE!

I blame Lexus. Their incredibly ugly acre-of-plastic front grills are bleeding over into other brands. The new 4-series grills are truly frightening. Fugly.

I misspoke - this is actually the x3i. I believe, at least for the time being, BMW is intentionally distinguishing their electric vehicles from the rest of the classes.

the chrome grills are always ugly IMO (although these are slightly worse), bet they'd look good in gloss black
