F30 Paddle shifter retrofit possibility??
2013 Bmw 328i - no line base model, with nav, It has the base steering wheel and while I would like to upgrade it... a new wheel and airbag aint cheap and Justifying that is extraordinarily hard, given my current wheel is really nice. I was wondering if I can retrofit shift paddles onto my current base wheel, yes i understand that it might require a new wire to the harness, but I have already coded the sport trans on fdl coding, so the coding and new wire wouldn't be an issue, just adding the paddle to the wheel would be! can this wheel support the f30/f80 paddles? if so what do i need to buy?

Get yourself a M steering wheel with paddles.
Code it, if it doesn’t work then you need to route 2 cables from the steeringwheel to your FEM. |
