Sorry couldn’t find this- is there a chart showing production volumes / numbers of cars and colors?

Looking to see how unpopular Sparkling Brown is on a 2016 428i F33.

If you are shopping for yourself, then what matters is whether or not you like it.
From what I have seen on the roads it
is not a common colour, so I don’t believe you will see many of them. It does make it easier to find your car in a parking lot.

My car is the Sparkling Bronze Metallic and I love it.

1. Because it is not common.
2. To me it is a classy colour and looks high end.
3. It has red and green metallic flakes in the paint that sparkle in bright sunlight.

In the shade it looks brown and in the light of dawn or dusk it looks gray.

I have had people approach me and tell me that they like the colour a lot.

I agree Frazer. It is unique and especially w Venetian Beige interior nice complement.

I’m still surprised I can’t find any data from BMW or forums on the production numbers in each color? I am either bad at searching or maybe this isn’t available, but I feel like most interesting cars have this data.

Or at least a marketing breakdown % in colors x, y, z, etc. ??

I believe there's a Facebook group for those with Bronze and Venetian Beige interiors...but they're really snippy. Wanted me to post pics of my interior with today's newspaper to prove it was real. Mine is black, so I couldn't get in. Plus, they only speak Italian, so I wouldn't have been able to understand their talk about their most interesting colors.

Mine is the least interesting of colors. Mine isn't even a color. Black. I belong to the Facebook support group for black bmw owners...they're all so glum and nihilistic, so they lift my spirits.


(OP, sorry, I've been cooped up too long. I lived with a green bmw for 14 years...got lots of compliments on it...but it took me years to think it wasn't ugly. )

I think the Sparkling Brown Metallic is beautiful! With so many Black, Gray and White cars, vehicles in this color really stand out. The dark brown looks black at night and has a classy hue. Maybe I'm partial as I have the Smoked Topaz which is a lighter brown color.

There are a few colors I'd be interested researching including the much hated Orion Silver Metallic (A92).

I don't know about "much hated". LOL. Even with the Venetian interior.

It's all about that white gold.

I love mine too, honestly.

But I do believe it's one of the least liked colors of the F30 chassis. I picked it because it was different, no regrets. Mine has black interior FWIW (by choice).

If there was a ranking of most adored colors, A92 would be near the bottom. That's what make it special (to me).

Me too for sure. It's unique and not like every other Bimmer on the road.
