I know this is the F30 section but Id like to think the process is similar or the same on the G01 X3.. Long story short I installed Apple Carplay from a known forum member ( works great ), Wanted to code some stuff after with Bimmercode ( FAILS TO CONNECT TO THE HEADUNIT MODULE ).

The developer of Bimmercode stated It seems like the USB CarPlay unlock has altered the coding data signature for HU_NBT_EVO and why I cant read the ECU Correctly.

To fix they gave me these steps :

1. Revert the HU_NBT_EVO back to default using esys
2. Make Coding changes with Bimmercode
3. Reinstall Carplay

I just have no idea how to do step 1 ( Revert the HU_NBT_EVO back to default using esys ), Can anyone guide
me thru the process or point me in the right direction or does anyone offer remote coding to help a brother out?

I have a laptop with ESYS 3.27.1 and the cable, I can connect to the car but dont know where to go or how to accomplish.

Mark the ecu HU_NBT_Evo and hit the Button „Code“. That‘s all.
The prerequisite is that the VO is original.

Sure are you free to do now? I have a laptop / cable / esys and teamviewer ready to go. Im just try to code NBT back to default on my 2018 x3'

Sorry a little new to this, I was on an old version of Esys and probaly why the steps were not matching up ( missed your initial post, my apologies ).
