Error Code BMW F30 328i
Hi guys
Lately, I've been having long cold start cranks on my car. Sometimes it would keep cranking and cranking and then the car won't start at all and shows me a drive train malfunction. I then crank it again and it starts normally and the malfunction disappears. During warm starts, the car starts fine as usual. I don't have an engine light or any control check errors at all when I'm driving as usual. I then ran an OBDII diagnostic check and I got the results in the screenshot I have attached? Could it be a possible fuel pump failing? If anyone could help me on this, that would be great! |

Fuel pumps will fail intermittently before they fail 100%.
Not sure what replacement is like in the f30, but in an e46, it's very easy...I assume similar for ours. But, don't change the FP based on this. There may be other things causing your issue. I just got mine, so still learning about its particularities. ...and a bump.

Thank you for your reply.
The car is starting well now but I will be taking it to my local euro mechanics for a diagnostic check! Will update this post when I get the results |
