Which Winter setup?

It’s winter wheels time and I’m hesitant between these 2 models, I like them both a lot and I know the car would look good with either, price is also exactly the same,
So I’d like your opinions on which one you like best
The first 2 pics are the Rial Salerno in 17 inches
The other 2 are the Rota Torques ( the car has 18’s but I will go with 17’s)

Thanks

Well show me a better looking , reasonably priced 17” winter wheel, that will survive the harsh Canadian winters and shitty roads , and I will gladly look at it

189s are 18's and I'm not using 18s again for winter, I had 162s which I sold ,
If I was in GTA I might consider using the staggered 18s but here with the amount of snow we get ,forget it

This is what the snow looked like at my house in April

I'm using 17" E39 M5 wheels for the winter, they're fairly cheap and designed so that they don't need a centering ring.

But between your two choices I'd probably go with the first one, the Salerno. Beyond anything else I like it when a wheel can accomodate a BMW roundel cap.

However... what are the widths and offsets of those wheels? If one stands wider than the other in terms of overall track width, I'd probably go for that one.

The torques don't need a centering ring, they are hubcentric and made specifically as a winter setup for BMW's

How are 17" E39 wheels hubcentric when the E39 has a 74.1mm hubbore and the E9x has a 72.6 hubbore?

My mistake, I forgot to mention that they're reps and were offered in both bore diameter varieties. I paid only around CAD$170 a piece for them at the time 2 years ago.

I don't run them staggered. 225/40/18 all around, performs very well in the snow and looks great.

You know what I had completely forgot about the offsets
The Salerno are 17 X 8 with 30mm offset so that will look preety good

i'm not sure about the Rota's ,, Zoeb?

How about style 162 replicas 17". THey are 17X8 with 34 offset (as per spec) and hubcentric. That's what I'm getting locally $180/wheel including install. They also have wheel + tire packages available. Grand Prix Imports they distribute RWC (replica wheels canada), 514-328-2300. http://www.replicawheelscanada.com/
