Any coating/protectant recommendations for front lip

Just bought a carbon fiber front lip. Do you guys use ceramic coating or any type of protectant like that?
this will be going on the rear diffuser and side skirt extendos.

thanks.

The only thing I use is 3M vinyl trim on the undercarriage of my front lip to protect from scraping my driveway. I have an OEM CS lip and the gloss finish is good enough. You can PPF if you want, but IMHO it's a waste of money. I consider front lips as consumables since I am lowered. No ceramic coat would have protect me from this:

^^^^ yup this why I don't want to spend on very expensive front lip... even stock height...you will scrap them. There are no standard height when construction of parking entrances, drive ways, street hump, so you will scrap

Porsche owners consider them consumables and I tend to agree. These came on my car so I had no choice. I wanted to track so lowered the car. I knew the lip wouldn't last more than two season and sure enough I cracked it going off track sideways at 100mph. Got a used one for cheap ($2500 new). If I crack this one I'll get non-cf to reduce wallet fatigue.

FWIW, buy the ABS / Polypropylene ones off ebay for $110-$150.
Wrap them in carbon fiber vinyl. The vinyl is *super* scratch and rip resistant and looks the part. If the splitter gets knocked or cracked under it, you won't notice much.

I'm on my 3rd splitter in 2 years. 2 parking blocks and one 12x10 tow buckle off a moving truck later.

I just broke my m-performance lip at least it was aftermarket not oem(expensive).... looking to get a difference design maybe v2 style....I really need a new lip

No matter what car you have... all front lip spoiler will scrap or break...just one slip up on a parking lot or just cruising the freeway and a debris from a blow up tire or worst yet a damn ladder fall of a truck from an idiot who forgot to securely tied to the truck bed.

Yup saying all those from experience

This is the reason why I just want a minimal drop from a spring (1/2 inch).
