Walk away lights

How do I get my headlights to stay on for about a minute after I've exited my car at night and walk away from it without having to lock the car?
My car is a 2009 335ix N92.
Even an inexpensive Ford or Chevy can do this without calling Silicon Valley to borrow a computer expert with a laptop .
Is there a coding option in the paid version of Bimmercode to do it? I'm a computer dunce and would rather leave 'Expert Mode' to the experts.

Thanks

The operation is in your owners manual; Just pull back on the high beam stalk.

The function is easily set using the turn signal stalk and menu. The owner's manual walks through it.

As simple as neilvan stated. Just pull back the stalk. I never use it though. The majority of features I never need. I have a light on my keychain or just walk without a light. But then again I stay in the safe haven of Detroit where honesty and goodness are free flowing.

Thanks guys. I knew what you've passed on to me and have used the feature once or twice - if and when I remember it's there.
What I was actually looking for was a way to have the car automatically turn the headlights on at night when the car is shut down and the drivers door is opened (the cars light sensor knows if it's dark if the headlight switch is set to auto). It would be nice if it also worked at night when opening the drivers door (from the outside) if the car has been parked.
Is there a way all this magic can happen on my wife's loaded '09 335ix E92 without her having to mess with the high/low stak or key FOB?
My 17 year old XK8 does all the above and so does our SL550, Ridgeline and Forester.
I just found it strange that such a sophisticated German car as a loaded 335ix can't manage that simple trick?

You might be able to do this through coding but BMW didn't do this for a reason. Try getting familar with german and NCS Expert.

Most of us don't want the lights on after so they gave us the option to do it ourselves if needed.

I'm not finding a coding change that will do what I want. Guess I'll just live with it. If that's the biggest issue I have with the car no problem.
Thanks for the reply.
