Anyone going for joyrides?
Anyone taking their car out and rolling the windows down for a quick joyride? I’m curious how many of us are during this quarantine

Yes. It's me and the car. We can cross contaminate each other. (Unless my car has been sneaking out to go to 711 at night and bringing something home. 😱 As a medical professional though I will say take this s**t very seriously. Be safe.

before having kids and before street racing got the criminal status, about 50% of my mileage was joy ride.
A calm friday, and we go up north in a 200km easy ride. I was doing it with my cousin which is also a car enthusiast, so conversation were 100% car related. Pulls and starts without exceeding 'massively' the speed limits was a thing early 2000s. I miss the '' if he's automashit, we got him''. Now automatics are so fast, but remain so boring |

Been doing a few 50+ mile loops around San Diego county this past week. No stops, just Me, Doggy, and the open roads. Canyons, backroads, coast drives, and everything in between. Had coincidentally flashed MHD and XHP just before all the stay-at-home stuff got declared. The emptiness has set the perfect setting for getting a feel for the new tunes.
...also I blew my chargepipe off. Turns out the extra boost is a good way to find where your dumbass didn't tighten a hose clamp enough |

Mine has been sat on the driveway slowly receiving repairs and upgrades...hopefully it'll be done in the next couple of days and I'll go out for a spin!

I got an essential job so I have been enjoying the light traffic, on the days I actually drive into the office that is.

Theres still so many people out here in Dallas. It's like no one is quarantined. I still hit some slight traffic on my way home to work, not nearly as much as normal, but still some.

Did today. Was quickly reminded of this squeek/crackle noise coming from around my drivers side window frame. Very annoying. Im hoping there’s a fix.

I sometimes have a squeak that sounds like it is from the frame. I lock the door and then I don't hear it. 06 330i. Very strange, but your issue is probably different.

Yep.....I've been getting out and enjoying the nice weather. With all of the bars, restaurants, and other places closed up in my town...I'm going stir crazy. I'm getting out and putting some miles on the car......haven't been pulled over yet

I have clients that are deemed essential, which then makes me essential. The commute into work in the morning and then the commute home is eerily like driving in Mexico.
