if you have front licence plate laws you cant, but if you dont then you will regret making holes in your bumper

I don’t think you’ll find (m)any people here who have done that, assuming you’re referring to a non-state/DMV issued plate. I know California has a ton of vanity plate choices, but I don’t believe Euro-spec plates are one of them.
See here. Short version: Yes, you may have seen them. No, they are not legal.

There are a few posts in the thread I linked to that talk about that. I don’t think there were any pics or instructions though.
If I’m being honest I’m having a hard time picturing what that would look like. Care to enlighten me?

So on your trunk where ur license plate goes theres space for a euro german plate. They put that on first then they put the California plate on top of it. So pretty much two licnese plate except the euro one is on the bottom!

Check my garage.
All you need is an euro license plate holder.

Nobody is going to make a bracket for that. The first and most significant reason is that if a company did make such a thing, they might be able to sell three of them in 10 years. The other reason is that you probably don't need a bracket at all. From what I can tell, whoever vandalized that 330 simply unbolted the CA plate and frame, stuck the Euro plate on, and then bolted the CA plate back on top. The Euro plate looks very thin and doesn't appear to be embossed, so frankly it looks like a very simple job. If there is insufficient clearance, you could use rubber washers between the CA plate and the trunk to provide the space needed to make this very tasteful and timeless modification. Use mounting tape or similar to stick the Euro plate to the trunk. Make sure to come back and post pictures. I'm working from home and am running out of dank memes to look at.

Where did you get them? My wife's uncle gave me some from Bavaria and they are different shapes and sizes. And were current when he gave them to me (her cousins were joking they were stolen lol)

I've seen this around me with a few cars, not just BMWs, but a few Audis and Range Rovers. The BMWs in particular have the ED plates with CA plates over them. Pretty abaured of you ask me, but so are giant wheels and fart can exhausts. To each his/her own. Whatever makes people happy.
