E93 335i aftermarket headlights

I have a 2009 E93 335 I want to install aftermarket ebay headlights, I read some people say if you have cornering lights you'll run into some issues installing aftermarket ones, is this true?

If you have adaptive headlights (those that turn into the corners) good luck finding a compatible kit on Ebay... most of the aftermarket headlights they have there are for cars that comes stock with the Halogen headlights not the Adaptive HID system.

Plus those ebay headlights are usually trash both in quality and the beam pattern as well.

You'd be buying an inferior headlight!

What's attracting you to one from eBay?

I think it's a brighter LED and it has the design that the new M4's have, I don't mind spending money although I don't want to go crazy either. Do you know a good brand that makes headlight upgrades?

Why don't you just replace the bulb for your angel eyes? This is the most common "upgrade" for our headlights:

That was a pretty bad video. Its is practically an installation video. It would have been nice to see how each compare on light output so that one could answer if they are truly worth it. My cents worth.

To me, form is good but function is greater. I want a headlight that looks good but also performs at or better than OE specs. Sadly, the projectors installed in aftermarket headlights are usually inferior and produce poor lighting.

The M4 look is cool but I think you should dig a little deeper before making a decision.

Outside of that, I cannot vouch for aftermarket headlights but I will let others chime in.

Good luck!
