2007 BMW 328i Coupe Review

Hey guys,

I just published my first car review of the 2007 BMW 328i Coupe on YouTube:
. If you have some time, check it out. This is my third e9# 3 series, and, just like the rest of you all, I am passionate about these cars. I enjoyed making this video and hope that you all will as well. There will be more videos coming. Thanks!

Nice review. I’m the original owner of my 2008 E90 with sport package. I love the way it drives, and it’s looks after 12 years of current ownership.

I’m not a fan of the F series, nor G series. The main culprit is the electric steering. The steering feels numb. Wish Bmw brought back hydraulic steering.

It took about 80 years to get hydraulic steering right. It’ll take 10 for electric steering. So, I guess they’re almost there!

It’s never coming back.

I have Michelin A/S 3s on my e92, and the improvement over the runflats has been awesome. The car feels more nimble, and it's not as loud in the cabin.

I'll do a video review of my e85 Z4 3.0i soon. That car has electric steering, but for some reason, it offers more feedback than the steering in the F30 series. I don't get it. You would think that a car that was released 9 years later would have better electric steering feel than a car from 2003, but it doesn't.

I suddenly have these slight cracklings/squeaking noise around my drivers side window. It’s intermittent. I read that it’s common with our vehicles. They say Teflon tape around the shadow-line trim will solve it. Also cleaning the seals, and lubricating the area. It supposedly hits the window frame. Not sure if this is my issue. It’s just annoying. I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

I don't know if it's the same thing that you are experiencing, but I would hear some wind noise in my coupe when driving on the highway. I think it's due to the frameless window design. I never had that issue on my e90s. I think there is a way to tighten the door, which helps reduce the noise. You can also replace the rubber seals around the windows, but I haven't done tried that. Let me know if you find out what the problem is and how you fixed it.
