Any way to keep the rear 'DRLs' switched on when front DRLs are on?

Hi all
I've noticed that the two thin red LED strips on my rear lights only come on when the main headlights are on.

i.e. They don't come on in the daytime when just the front DRLs are on.

I like these red LED strips as they brighten up the tail light units (and the rear of my car).

Is there any way to get them to stay on? I've checked Bimmercode's options for the X3 and it doesn't list that.

thanks

I couldnt see that listed as a coding option on Bimmercode.

And Stephan from Bimmercode confirmed it’s not possible to code it.

Is there any other way?

Just drive with your headlights on.

or turn 1 click to turn on side markers, that should also power up the tail lights without turning on the head lights.

it's unfortunate. On my X2 Bimmercode could easily activate the rear DRLs to be on.

I'll try the sidelights option and see if that activates the rears. thank you

Any new updates bimmer code or way around to get the rear lights to stay on like the front DRLs during the day? They don't come on in the daytime when just the front DRLs are on.
