Coding for dummies ?

I'd like to enable a few features in my 2013 F30 like bluetooth music streaming and keyfob window control. I'd like to try my hand at coding it myself. I already ordered a cable. Some of the discussions I've read seem to assume that the user has a certain level of knowledge... is there a "Coding for Dummies tutorial anywhere ? I see discussion about Launcher software... what is that for ?

Grab an iphone or ipad, Bluetooth OBD adapter and use Bimmercode app

Can I run Bimmercode on a PC or only a phone ? I guess I would need to order a WiFi or Bluetooth adapter ?

What WiFi or Bluetooth adapter do you guys recommend to use with Bimmercode ? One document specifies the Vgate Icar PRO but in their list of supported ODB adapters that one is shown as "No Longer Recommended".

WiFi or Bluetooth ? Is one better than the other ?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ and the non + version ? There's about $10 difference between the two.

Use one that is recommended. Bluetooth is better.

So I bought a Bluetooth OBD adapter and purchased Bimmercode... Last night I enabled a few options on my F30 and now I can stream music from my phone. Easy Peasy ! Things have sure come a long way since the days of using cryptic INPA and NCSexpert on my E90.
