Whining noise when accelerating
Not sure if I never noticed it before but lately I haven't been playing music in the car so it's something I noticed. Any idea what it is?

I haven't tested it out turning, but it happens when accelerating. Can't hear it well going too fast since its usually on the highway.

FWIW...I think we were both running MHD V7 Stage 1+. I went to stage 0 and the whine went away. Tuned to V6 1+ last night and no whine today, but the tune is complete shit on my car...

My N52 makes this same sound and when I took it to the dealership under warranty, I had a cracked valve cover.($5000 fix without warranty lol) When they fixed it the sound wasn’t as loud but still existing and they said it was normal it was just really loud because of the cracked cover
*Car is completely stock and N52 so no turbo whine |

My turbo whines when it's cold and goes away slightly when completely warmed up regardless of what MHD tune I'm using. Doesn't sound at all like your video, that sounds like transmission or clutch. I've heard that sound before

Hmmm, I don't want to depend on a tune to get rid of the noise though. I just wanna make sure that it's not a big issue or hurting the engine somehow. I'll play around with the tunes but I think I'll take my car in to get it checked out while I'm still under warranty
