Group buy: 22RPD dyno tune for the M2C

22RPD shop in Renton is offering a dyno tune flash at a discount if there is enough interest. I’m making this post to see how many local individuals might be interested so we can get a quote.

The offer is for:

*Dyno tune - adding estimated 60-70whp
*Downpipes (optional) - adding estimated 20-30whp
*Dyno pull showing final power made after modifications

Note that this is for the M2 Competition model (S55 engine)

Post here if you are interested or have questions.

More details About the group buy:

22RPD will offer flashing back to stock for warranty purposes and then back to the performance tune for free for this group buy. However, if they end up needing to remove the ecu to flash the tune, they would have to charge for the labor involved. Alternatively, anyone from the group buy would be able to bring their ecu to them to have it reflashed for free and avoid the labor cost.

With the purchase and installation of VRSF downpipes (either hi-flow catted or catless) along with the tuning package and 2 hours of dyno tuning they will offer 25% off the tune itself for a group of 2-3 people. For 4-5 people they will offer 35% off of the tune while 6+ would receive 50% off of the tune.

I'm interested.

Questions:

1) Sport and catless DP options or only catless?
2) In the event I need warranty work and need to reflash to stock, do they reflash back to stock and retune for free or cheap or?

Thanks!

I'd be down. Would want to stop by the shop and chat with them a bit first about the tuning platform and such. I'd also be interested in just having them unlock the dme.

My understanding from speaking with them, is that they do not unlock the DME, but bypass it and hook up directly to the ECU and flash.

If you were to flash the ECU, you can kiss the warranty goodbye. I certainly wouldn't risk it on a brand new car.

Unless you are tracking the car, I don’t see the point in these mods.

Oh Dan, you are sounding like an old man these days. Are you going to start yelling at us now for our loud exhausts?

I yell at myself for my loud exhaust. I can't hear myself, though, because the exhaust is loud. Works out.

Ohhh. I'm down in Portland. I plan on going up there in May for a dyno tune on my OG with ps2 and hpfp upgrade! Haven't heard anything about 22rpd. But they are the ones that work with Mhd from my understanding.
