Is that actually possible or are all these websites merely gimmicks? One website is offering the file/code for $69 but it seems suspicious (bmweasycoding).

Any legit websites that actually work? And does it make a difference whether it's activated via USB or actual E-Sys coding?

Yep definitely possible as I've done, used an ebay link. It doesn't work via USB on the latest istep versions though that has to be done via the obd.

I used these guys and they have all the details on the istep version on the listing

EDIT: One more question, how can I tell if my friend's car is equipped with an antenna if GPS isn't activated from factory?
