Hi I'm working to the replace the rear hood release cable for my 2007 335i.

I've release the hood latches and front release cable. Now I'm exploring where the rear release cable feeds into the firewall to the cabin. I don't want to unintentionally snap worn plastic to find a view and clearance. Any posts for this DIY on this model?

Pelicanparts does not show the firewall nor how the cable is snaked into the cabin in their guide.
