Premier Clear Bra Install -- Review

As promised, I am posting a review and some pics of my clear bra install at Premier in Fremont, CA.

Last week, I went down to Premier in Fremont to get the VentureShield clearbra installed. It was a painless and beneficial venture (minus the traffic!).

Originally, I emailed to ask a few questions about Premier, pricing, and availability. Everything was done via email and communication was fast and very good...EASY! I elected to go with a full hood wrap, full front fender wrap, full front bumper wrap, mirrors, side skirts, rear wheel arches, headlights, and rear bumper lip.

I drove down to Premier on Thursday, 9/4 and arrive just about 9:00am. I was greated promptly and a rep took a look at my car, verified everything I wanted, and showed me everywhere the VentureShield was to be installed on my car. The consultation was quick and thorough.

Soon after that, he asked me to pull my car into the bay and unto a lift. I was invited inside where there was free wi-fi, Dish TV, Playstation, magazines galore, a comfy couch, etc. There is also a huge window that looks out into the shop so you can check out what is going on once in a while.

Very shortly after I pulled the car in, they began to clean it and started to install the VentureShield. The mirrors were first to go, then the hood, lights, front fenders, side skirts, then finally, rear wheel arches and trunk lip. I was amazed at how fast these guys were, but noticed that their attention to detail was really good. Although they were fast, they really did take their time to get it right the first time.

At about 3pm they were done...they worked non-stop on the car...not even a lunch break! There was usually two people working on the car and sometimes 3.

When the car was done, I took it down the freeway and took a few onramps at speed to flex the car as much as possible. Then I came back and they checked it all over to make sure everything was still up to their standards. I was given the all clear and I proceded home, a happy camper!

I attached some pics of the work in progress. I will add some later of the finished product.

All in all, I am very satisifed with Premier and would highly recommend them! Although my car is a cheap toy in comparison to some of the cars they have done (McLaren F1, Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc, etc.), they treated me and my car as first class customers!

Yeah, although I was not allowed in the shop bay, I did stand outside a few times and watched them....it takes a LOT of patience! I was thinking to myself "damn, there is no way I could do that". Although they were "fast", they really did take their time and got it right the first time. If there was something one of the guys didn't like, he would pull it off and start all over!

Good report, Tim. Glad to hear that there are still businesses that take pride in their work and take customer service seriously.

I'll be getting the VentureShield put on my car by a local shop before I even take delivery. Hopefully, they do as good of a job as Premier.

if my eyes are right, it looks like they have a Stradale in there. Good work as always premier.

yeh, i had mine done by premier about a week ago. very impressed with their operations over there. probably the cleanest shop I've ever seen. their place is decked out with nice cars when I was there and the waiting area for me was nice, spacious, and comfy. I actually felt like i was at home. sayemthree i have white and do not detect any type of yellowing as well.

Nice M! Their facilities look top notch as well as their work.

Quick question: After the installation of the clear bra, do you still wash and wax normally or are there special procedures?

No washing for a week. After that, wash and wax as if it were normal paint. They asked that I not use waxes that are YELLOW as the yellow dye that some companies use may stain the VentureShield. Other than the yellow wax issue, you treat it like paint for the most part.

Looks fantastic. The 3M wrap that I spent a fortune on turned out terribly, so I'm going to give them a call.

I would rather see rock chips than a bad 3m bra put on my cars. If I do it, I'm going to get it done by the best that's available to me. Premier's the way to go.

I'm excited!

Looks great, Tim! I'm actually going to drive up from LA today for my appointment with Premier tomorrow morning. I couldn't wait until mid-November for them to come back down to LA.

Plus, the 400 mile journey will help me get to 1,200 much quicker--I just got my car a week ago. I just need to remember to vary the revs a bit during the long stretch on I-5.

whoa, that's quite a drive. Why not wait until they are in town or better yet, I hear they are opening a facility right in the heart of Orange County in a few months.

Just dropped it off. Sam said they are opening a shop in Orange County. I think he said January.

I needed an excuse to drive-- can't wait 'til 1200!

Elite Clear Bra

I Used Elite Clear Bra they do great work the best that I've seen. I've had all my cars done by them over the past 6 or 7 years. They've always given me the best customer service and stand behind their work. You'll need to call 714-580-2576 and ask for Craig he's the owner and let him know you heard about him from this forum and he'll hook you up with a Standard Kit whick is the Hood, Fenders, Mirrors, and Bumper and they'll even throw in the Lights for $595 Installed. If you want the Premium Kit which is the Full Hood, Full Fenders, Bumper, Mirrors, and Headlights your looking at $1495. It's a seamless kit and they use only the best patterns around which Xpel. They do great work. Their website is www.eliteclearbra.com - Protect Your Car From Debris. Or you can Email them at eliteclearbra@gmail.com. They are located in Huntington Beach and they're a mobile service

They are the best around and that's a FACT
