Maintance miles changed itself?

Had my car for bout 2 weeks now and has 25xx miles on it. I noticed last night when i turn my engine on the service miles for oil changed from 15000 to 14000 now itself. Does anyone know if this is normal or did my driving habit change this?

Any info would be nice.

as long as it doesnt increase over 15k ...

I do not have the exact same problem as the OP but I am posting here b/c I don't want to start a new thread and the issue is kinda related to the OP's issue.

I took my car in for oil change last week with about 15,250 miles on it. After the service, the OBD and iDrive show different number of miles to next oil change. The OBD shows 15,000 miles & iDrive shows 16,000 miles to next oil change.

Has anyone else experienced this?
