How do you crash classes? Irrelevant NWS included.

Im 20 yrs old and I need to take a couple classes at a city college but all of them are full. Im planning on just going to each of the classes that i want and ask the professor in the beginning if theres room or if he can add me. But the PROBLEM is that ive never done this before. Should i still barge into a class even if it already started? Should i take a seat or should i just leave when class starts?

Can you guys shed me some light as to how i should go about doing diz?

i shall repay you in nws

okay, well i wasnt aware that the NWS stuff was gonna be that big....

as for the classes, figure out who the profs are and send them an email before the class starts, and then go up to them on the first day and tell them i would like to join the class. your college should have some sort of manual add/drop system that the profs will sign, so if they know you are serious they might help you out. otherwise, just let them know you will sit in on the class, but you wont get credit for it if you are not registered.

be warned tho that some profs just go by the rules, with no expecptions. they wont care if you are sick and dying, if the class is capped, its capped. gl.

Your best chance is to attend the class that you wish to add early, maybe a good ten or fifteen minutes before it starts to see if you can speak with the instructor beforehand.

If the instructor doesn't show up early then just find a seat, and normally he/she will ask wither any students wish to add either before or after they take attendance. Either they will deal with the students who wish to add right then or they will ask that you attend the class and speak to them afterwards.

It's fairly simple, just attend the class and speak with the instructor.

well look at the deadlines, my school has already closed all classes....for the most part, you should be able to manually add/drop the class via a form, signed by the professor, unless he/she is a dick, in which case you're screwed....

Come in early during the class and speak to the prof, or stay afterwards.....if you walk in late, the prof will see you're tardy and see that you're not really keen on taking the class...
